Ate here for Lunch two weeks ago. We ate here by accident, as almost every restaurant we are familiar with (yes, something about me not wanting to step out of my circle blah-blah.. hehe) was packed since it was lunch time (around 11am). This was the only place that had no customers yet. A pity though, since this place really delivers – pun not intended.

I love restaurants with warm lights. It gives the place a homey, warm feeling. And the little fact that I look good in these lighting. Hehe.

We ordered Ice Tea for our drinks, I guess I was subconsciously trying to prove everyone wrong with me not wanting to try different things (with regards to food, that is) so I ordered their specialty – Wintermelon Iced Tea(16oz – P45) while Dale ordered a normal Iced Lemon Tea(24oz – P80). Our waitress said Wintermelon is Kundol (sp?) in Filipino so I was a bit squeamish. Boy, was I wrong. It tasted mother-fracking great! You have gotta try this for yourself as I don’t know how to explain how it tastes like. LOL. All I know is that it is refreshing, a bit sweet and new!
I got Sheperd’s Pot Pie(P280) which is also very delish. Yup, that is melted cheese on top of ground beef in tomato sauce (I love cheese!). The sour cream around it adds a kick to the yummy tangy taste of the dish. Dale got Teriyaki Beef Rice(P185), which well, tastes like Teriyaki Beef.

Overall Rating: 3.75/5
Food: 4/5 – I loved the Shepherd’s Pot Pie. Dunno yet about the others on their menu though.
Service: 2.75/5 – The waitress didn’t know how to describe their food which for me is a ding. You should know your business!
Ambiance: 3.25/5 – Just because we were the only people during that time and the warm white lights. Hehehe
Value: 3.5/5 – The price was relatively cheaper, for the quality of the food we ordered, except for the drinks which is a bit expensive.
